Multilocation - Setting up your options for Boarding, Grooming, Daycare and Special Services

This document will explain the features of the Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, and Special Services modules and how you setup your options.

Boarding

Runs - You can assign runs, rooms, kennels, or cage to each boarding appointment.  Kennel Connection will check on availability and choose a different run if prompted to.  You can set multiple pet rates to give a discount for the 2nd-5th pet if same family pets share the same run.  Setting up and using runs

Prices by weight - Whether or not you use runs, you can opt to have KC charge by pet weight.  This also will let you set up multiple pet discounts for same family pets of the same weight class.  Setting up and using weight classes

Adding feeds, medications and exercises - You are able to assign these services to appointments and print out daily reports.  Adding feeds, meds, exercises

Other Services - These are add-on services such as brush outs, teeth brushing, training refreshers, bandanas and so on.  You can set an unlimited number of Other Services.  There is an option to set its own category for revenue reports and set commissions.  Other Services

Departure services - These are groom services to be given to the pet before departure day.  You can set commissions.  Departure services

Boarding packages - You are able to sell X number of days to a client (10 day Boarding package for example) and the days will count down as the pet comes in for boarding.  Boarding packages

Vaccinations - You can have required vaccinations and have KC warn if the pet has missing or expired vaccinations.  You can send an expired vaccination email to all clients.  Adding vaccinations

Warning messages - You can add general or boarding specific warning messages that will alert staff to specifics on that pet.  You can print a warning report for the day's schedule.  Warnings

Waitlist - This is a way to keep appointments that you currently don't have availability for in case something opens up.  There is a separate schedule for these appointments.  Waitlist appointments

Grooming

Prices - You can set groom rates based on breed or weight class.  Groom price by breed or weight class

Groom notes - You are able to add default groom notes to the pet card and be able to populate these on each appointment.  You can also click History and include past appointment notes into this current appointment.  Groom notes

Other Services - These are add-on services such as brush outs, teeth brushing, training refreshers, bandanas and so on.  You can set an unlimited number of Other Services.  There is an option to set its own category for revenue reports and set commissions.  Other Services

Recurring groom appointment - You are able to book recurring groom appointments, every X week for X months at a time.  Recurring groom appointments

Daycare

Daycare rooms/types - You can setup different daycare rooms or types.  You are able to set maximum limits for each room and setup multiple pet rates to give discounts when same family pets are in the same room.  Daycare room/types 

Recurring daycare appointments - You are able to make recurring appointments for up to 7 days a week for X months.  Recurring daycare appointments
