To start using the OLR system, you'll first want to go through each setting and enable/disable/add/remove or modify what you need to allow your system to run efficiently for your business. Here is a quick overview of the Grooming settings pages.

Login to your Live Access system using your own Live Access URL and admin credentials. Choose Online Reservations from the left hand menu and click on the OLR Settings.
Inside the OLR settings, each module that you have available will have a tab and then sub-tabs underneath as shown here. For Grooming, choose Grooming.
Here you can set general settings for the grooming module.

Here you can set your default business hours for this module or if you already have them entered in KC desktop and all modules operate under the same hours you can copy them from there. It also gives you three different sets of special hours which are hours that are different than your normal business hours and enabling those will overwrite your default hours for the date range selected. This is beneficial for Holidays or other circumstances that may warrant special hours.

You can see here that the hours for some days are different than others and that no grooming is done on Thursdays.
Pages to Display in Customer Booking Wizard
Here you can choose which pages your customers will see when they make online reservations through the Client Portal. Checking the box for a page on the left will add it to the "displayed pages" on the right. Unchecked from the left will remove from the right. Whichever pages are showing on the right, your customers will see while making reservations.

Note that you can also use the red/green arrows to move the order of your OLR pages. If a page does not have arrows, it cannot be moved:
Choose Groom Services
Here you can specify what services you want your customers to see when creating an online reservation for the grooming module. As it mentions below in the description, everything has to bind to a default service in KC like bath, groom, nails or Other (This is a must for invoicing and booking.) We've now made it easy for you to create your own packages and bind them to a service already in KC that can be invoiced and booked. Create your own groom packages or combos, name them, describe them and attach them to KC desktop services.
Note, you also have the ability to bind these groom services to specific modules shown in the "modules" column below. This allows you to set services so they may apply to one or multiple but not another. For example, your facility may ONLY do nail trims as a departure service for daycare. You can set Nails to all modules B, G, D or just D. Then set all the other modules to exclude Daycare. This way when a customer makes a daycare booking, the only departure service they have to choose from is Nails.
Lastly, you can set these to be applied (visible in OLR bookings) for certain pet types using the "Pet Type" column. You can see below that the Spatacular day and Bird bath are linked to certain pet types only.
Here you can see I created an offering called "Spatacular Day" with a description. I chose to display the price and set the duration. I then linked it to be displayed as an offering in only Boarding & Grooming and NOT Daycare.
I then linked it to Bath but chose to use the rate I have set in KC desktop + an additional 5.00.
I then linked it to Groom and only chose to use the KC desktop rate for groom.
I then linked it to Nails and only chose to use the KC desktop rate for nails.
I then linked it to Other and chose to completely override any rates set in KC desktop and just charge 4.00.
Page Content Settings for Grooming
Here you can customize each page shown below with your own custom wording, custom terms, opt-in options, mandatory options and more. Click the customize icon to add your own styling such as font type, size and color!
TIP! Did you know that when you see the diagonal lines in the bottom right of a text field you can click and drag to expand the size? This helps when you have a lot of text to enter!
Here you can add a series of question that can be shown only on the pets first booking or whenever an appointment is made. Important note: In order for this to be displayed, you must choose this "Appointment Questions" page on the "Pages to Display" setting. Otherwise your customers will not see it.

Here you can enable and/or require documents to be uploaded and add your own text.

Grooming Payment Configuration
Here you can setup payment options including deposits, full payments, add conditions and more. IMPORTANT: In order to use payments with Kennel Connection Live Access & Client Portal you must have integrated CC processing. If you would like to learn more, please contact Sales@KennelConnection.net

Here you can choose products yo would like to make available for your customers to purchase or add-on when they create a grooming appointment.
Here you can choose other services you would like to make available for your customers to purchase or add-on when they create a grooming appointment.
Note that most commonly these "Other Services" are not full grooming services like grooms, baths, nails, spa packages but more of extras like Teeth treatments, muscle massages, blow outs, nail polish, color dye, accessories and any other grooming add-ons. This can be anything you want.
