Live Access - Time Clock

Employees are able to punch in/out with the time clock in Live Access.  You can restrict where they can punch from if needed.

The time clock is under Manage.



Live Access can be used from any device so some users restrict what days/times or what IP addresses their employees can use.  Click on this link for details.

There are three options for restricting access to the time clock.

Click on Manage, Access Restrictions.

1 - Restrict Time Clock usage to the business internet network.  This means employees can only use the timeclock at the business.
2 - Don't restrict access at all.  This means employees can use the timeclock from any location.
3 - Restrict only the following employees.  If you use this option, then you can allow certain employees to use the timeclock from anywhere, but the selected employees on this list can only use the timeclock at the business.  



Whitelisted IPs

If you have employees who work from home and you whitelisted their IP address, then 'restrict time clock usage to business internet network' will let them use the time clock from home.  However, if you add that employee to 'Restrict only for the following employees', they will not be able to use the time clock from home and will only be able to use it at the business.
