Inventory sold listing report doesn't include all retail items
When running Reports, Revenue, Inventory Sold Listings, if not all inventory items show on the report, make sure they are marked as Products. Services do not print on this report.
Click on File, Inventory.
Click on the item and check Product.
Click Save when done.

You can print a report for just expired inventory items. You add the expiration date to the item in File, Inventory. On the inventory screen, click on Reports, Inventory list. Check the box for 'Show expired only'.
