You are able to set service time definitions for feedings, medications and exercises. If the checkin or checkout times falls outside of your service time definitions, Kennel Connection will not charge for that service.
Click on File, Business Info, Operating Hours tab.
Check the box for 'Enable service times".
Enter the Morning, Afternoon, Evening hours.
In order for KC to record the exact time the pet checks in and out, "Adjust in/out time on pet check in/out" must be enabled (checked) for each module as needed. Click on File, System Options, Module tab.
Example 1: Our pet is boarding for 3 days. His checkin time was 1:15pm and his checkout time was 3:30pm.
He had feeding Kennel food dry set for Morning, Afternoon, Evening.
He had feeding Own food set for Morning and Evening.
KC will not charge for the Morning feed on the checkin day as the pet checked in after the morning definition of 7am to 11:45am.
KC will not charge for the Evening feed on the checkout day as the pet checked out before the evening definition of 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
Kennel food dry - 2 services (Afternoon and Evening) for the 1st day, 3 services the 2nd day, 2 services (Morning and Afternoon) the last day = 7 services.
Own food - 1 service (Evening) for the 1st day, 2 services the 2nd day, 1 service (Morning) the last day = 4 services.
Example 2: Our pet is staying for 1 day only. His checkin time is 8:15am and his checkout time is 2:25pm.
He has an exercise of Walk 15mins for Morning and Afternoon.
He has a feeding Kennel food dry for Morning, Afternoon and Evening.
KC will not charge for the Evening feeding as the pet checked out before the evening definition of 5pm to 8pm.

Please note: You have the option to set feedings, medications and exercises to Charge by Day or Charge by Service.
If you have the service set to Charge by Day, it will always be charged 1 time a day regardless of what time the pet checks in or out.
