Error Microsoft ODBC SQL Server driver DBNETLIB Connection Write send when using SQL server

Error "Microsoft ODBC SQL Server driver DBNETLIB Connection Write send" when using SQL server

Cause 1 - This is a network drop where this computer is losing connection to the server/main computer.

Sometimes just rebooting the computer is enough to get it to reconnect.  If that doesn't work, technical support can attempt to network it again.  However, we don't support your network, so if we are unsuccessful, you will need a local technician to assist.

Cause 2 - The connection to SQL server is unavailable or being blocked.

Make sure your computer and network card are not set to power down.  Click on Power setting instructions for details.

Make sure KC is excluded from your antivirus and firewalls.  Click here for instructions.
