Upload documents through Client Portal

Upload documents through Client Portal

There is an option to allow clients to upload documents through client portal.  They can either upload to a pet record or their client record.

To enable this, click on Online Reservations, Use & Registration and scroll to the bottom.  Hit Save Changes when done.

Important:  If this option is enabled, your client will be able to see and open any document that you have attached to their pet or client card in desktop Kennel Connection.  If you have a sensitive document attached that you do not want your client to see, leave this option turned off.  You can still allow clients to upload documents through the OLR appointment process but they won't have access to documents you have attached to their records.

You can also be notified when a client has uploaded a document.  To do this, click on OLR Settings, General, Email settings.  Check the box.  You can notify multiple emails if needed.

Now they are able to log into Client Portal.

To attach to a pet record, click on My Pets and each pet will have the option to "Upload Pet Document".
This will attach this document to this specific pet.

Please note:  A pet can only have up to 10 documents attached to his record.  If the pet has 10 records and the client clicks to upload another one, document 10 will be replaced with this new upload.

If the client would like to upload a document to their client record, that's on the Documents tab.

Once your client has uploaded the document, you will be able to see and open these through desktop KC or Live Access.
