Text messaging

You are able to send text messages to your clients and send text confirmations and reminders.


Before you can send emails, you must first configure KC to send emails.  Click here for instructions.


Open the client card, General Information tab.  Enter their text message number and cell provider.  The cell provider is required because KC needs to know what server to send the message to.


There is also a checkbox for Confirmations.  With this option checked, KC will send a text confirmation whenever you make an appointment for that client's pets.

When you purchase KC, it comes with a list of providers under File, Lists, Cell Svc Providers.  You can also add additional providers to this screen.

You have the option to send text grooming reminders by checking that box under Reports, Grooming, Reminder cards/emails.

You can also send a mass text to all of your clients. 


(Note that many email providers frown upon using their service for mass texts/emails and could block your account. We recommend marketing email services like Constant Contact or Mail Chimp or other similar services for mass messaging.)


Click on Utilities, Mass Text Utility.


Choose Active, Inactive or Select specific customers.
