If you are having trouble syncing Kennel Connection to QuickBooks to a QuickBooks company file across a network, you will need to test it locally on one computer.
One of two things will happen:
1 - You will notice the QuickBooks program flashing in your system tray. Click on it and you will see it's prompting you to allow KC to connect. Make sure you choose the option to allow sync even when QuickBooks is closed. Once you select the options, look back in Kennel Connection. You will see a list of "income accounts" that exist in QuickBooks pop up in Kennel Connection. You can then select your account.
2 - If it has already been setup once before, it will simply pop up a list of "income accounts" that exist in QuickBooks. Choose your account and hit OK.
If this works locally on one computer, then there is something either in the network or on the server preventing the sync of data.
Disable antivirus and firewalls and test again. If it works, you or your technician will need to figure out how to allow it to sync with those enabled as the sync of QB over a network is not covered under Software Connection support.
