Searching & Using the Live Access Client Explorer




 

Since web applications are different than desktop, Client Explorer had to change a bit in order to comply with web limitations. Searching in Live Access is quick and easy.


In the “Client Search Box” in the upper right-hand corner, type any letter to start your search. This will automatically open the Client Explorer.


This search can handle multi-term searches. For example, if you have a client and pet in your database as John smith and pet Moxie, you can search for “john smith moxie” without quotes and it will narrow down your search. You can do this by many terms such as first name, last name, phone #, address, email, pet name and so on. Here’s a screenshot of an actual search for last name & email address:






 

TIP! If you want to make an appointment for multiple pets from a family, click the arrow icons next to the pet names and a booking drop down menu will appear for easy booking.






If you would like to dock the Client Explorer and leave it showing, simply start a search to show the Client Explorer and then click the thumbtack.





 

This will leave the Client Explorer open but hide your menu. If you need to see the menu to navigate, just click the hamburger menu in the upper right and the menu will appear.





 

TIP! To add a NEW client to Kennel Connection, simply click the plus sign (+) on the Client Explorer.





 

TIP! If you use the mobile groom add-on in KC Desktop and have some clients marked as “mobile” on their client cards, there will be a blue van icon next to their name in the client list:

    - Hello-Groom - Cannot login/spinning and you've verified you have Internet.
    - Credit Card Processing - Cannot take payments at all from any method.
    - PawLoyalty - Cannot login/spinning or extreme latency and you've verified you have Internet.

    *Utilizing the emergency support for non-emergencies will not receive a call back.
