Screen is partially or completely blacked out

Screen is partially or completely blacked out

While using Kennel Connection, the screen is suddenly partially or totally blacked out.


Partially or totally blacked out screens are caused by failing video cards or bad drivers.  This is not related to Kennel Connection or the database nor are there settings in the program to fix it.


Update your video card drivers or replace the video card. 


You can also uninstall KC, reboot the computer, then reinstall KC.  It's possible by refreshing the system like this, it may fix it, but only for a while.  The blacked out screens will come back.


If you are going to try uninstalling/reinstalling, it is imperative to backup your database, pictures/documents/receipts folders before uninstalling.  Click here for instructions.
