Saving the Live Access/Client Portal website as a shortcut on your mobile device home screen

Saving the Live Access/Client Portal website as an Icon on your Mobile Device Home Screen

 

Since this service is accessed through a web browser and not an app, you may want to save this website onto your mobile devices home screen for quick access. Here are the instructions to do so from the supported mobile browsers. If these instructions do not apply to your device, you can search the Internet for “how to save a website to my (insert device name here) home screen.”




Microsoft Edge (Chromium)




Navigate to your Live Access or Client Portal home page and wait for it to load to your login screen. Tap the three horizontal dots on the bottom or horizontal dots in the upper right. 




With the menu open, press "Add to screen"



Enter the name for your shortcut and press "Add"



Touch and hold the icon to choose where you want to place the icon on your home screen OR click "Add" to have it placed automatically. 



Your shortcut to your Kennel Connection Live Access or Client portal is now saved on your home screen. 





 

Google Chrome
 
 


Navigate to your Live Access or Client Portal home page and wait for it to load to your login screen. Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right to open the menu.


 

 

 

 

With the menu open, press “Add to home screen.”



 

  

Enter a name for your shortcut and press “add.”


 

 

 Press and hold on the KC icon displayed to choose which home screen you want to add it to OR just click “add” and it will automatically add to one of your screens.


 

 

 

 Your shortcut to your Kennel Connection Live Access or Client portal is now saved on your home screen.




  

 

Mozilla Firefox
 


 Navigate to your Live Access or Client Portal home page and wait for it to load to your login screen. Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right to open the menu.


 

  

With the menu open, press “page”.


 

  

Press “Add page shortcut”


 

 

Press and hold on the KC icon displayed to choose which home screen you want to add it to OR just click “add” and it will automatically add to one of your screens.


 

 

Your shortcut to your Kennel Connection Live Access or Client portal is now saved on your home screen.


 


 

 

 Safari (iPad/iPhone)
 

 Navigate to your Live Access or Client Portal home page and wait for it to load to your login screen. Tap the share button (square with the up arrow) next to the address bar.



**NOTE** If using an iPhone, the share button (square with up arrow) may be at the bottom where as the iPad is at the top. Shown here:



With the menu open, press “Add to home screen”


 

 

 Press the “Add” button to add shortcut to your home screen.


 

An icon (shortcut) is now placed on your home screen. Press/hold to move it to where you desire.
