Record Locks

There may be times when you open a pet card, client card or appointment screen and buttons are grayed out so you can't click on anything.  You may also see a message this that it is locked.

This means KC thinks this record is locked or opened on another computer, whether it is or not.  To fix this, make sure the record in closed on every computer and then click on Utilities, Release record locks.  If it is successful, open the record to see if it's still locked.  If it is still locked, contact support for a patch to fix the error.  Support@KennelConnection.net or 1-888-486-4343 x 504.
