Policies is an area that configures many different settings in your account and how things are offered and charged.
1. Cancellation Policy: This is actually at what point the software will send an appointment reminder do your customers. It can go out as far out as 10 days and as close the appointment time as 12 hours.
2. Early Checkin Fee: By checking the Early Check-In button you have the option to choose if the Early Check-In fee is a flat rate charge or hourly based on how early they check-in. To set the actual time that the early check-in fee goes against you will go to Admin>Services and adjust the column for check-in time. Then based on how early the pet checks-in for their appointment the software automatically apply this fee.
3. Have on-site Payment Terminal means that you can take payments directly at your facility.
4. Payment Can be Made at Pickup allows you to book an appointment without having to choose a payment option at booking. This allows you to collect payment at either checkin, checkout, or any point during the appointment.
5. Sales Tax: will apply a percentage tax to all services. This will not include Retail.
6. Default Service Category & Default Service: This section allows you to choose the default service that shows up when you go to the booking screen for all customers. This is typically the service you book most frequently OR which service you want to be able to book the fastest.
7. Referred Data: allows you to choose the default referral that shows up when adding in a new client. It can always be adjusted.
8. Is Mandatory: Applies to the Referral. This will make it a mandatory field for your employees to choose a referral for all new customers before they can save them into the system.
9. Default to Pay at Pickup: This section allows you to choose the services that you want to directly default the payment method to Pay at Pickup. This will not allow you to see prices or review the invoice prior to completing the booking.
10. Vaccines: Choose the required vaccinations that you need at your business for Dogs and Cats so that the customers can be notified when they do not have a specific vaccine that is a requirement.
