Please note that while this details a NEW Client registration, existing user registration is very similar. If user chooses "Existing Client", when they type in their personal information and click register, it will search your KC database for those details they entered. If found, it will link to their proper account and already have their pets shown. If NOT found, based on your OLR settings, it will either let them register as NEW or advise them to call your business.
New clients that have not been to your facility before will choose the register option.
NEW customer (not existing in your KC database) will choose New Client
Customer will enter details and click Register.
Once "Register" is selected, it will create the account for your customer and log them in to their client portal. It will also add them to your database (Unless you have require approval enabled. You'll have to approve them before they get added.)
Customers account will now be created and they'll be redirected to their Client Portal dashboard:
They can now add pet/s to the system. The new customer account along with entered pets will show in your Live Access system and KC desktop after they are saved.
If you have the option to allow customers to upload documents, they can upload copies of vaccination records or other required items and they will be saved to their client card in KC.
From the "My Pets" tab, they can also upload an image of their pet by clicking the image box. Once clicked, it will open a browse screen where they can browse to an image of their pet and select it.
Creating a booking
Now that the new customers have setup their account and added pets, they can now go to the appointments tab and create an Online Reservation by clicking "Make New Appointment"
Choose type:
And configure the rest of the booking by stepping through each page of the booking wizard. (These pages inside the wizard will be based on your OLR "pages to display" settings. You can also add custom text to the pages including the "appointment submit page" which is where they see that their appointment is pending or approved after they click submit:

OLR Boarding "Customize pages" explained
At the end before saving, they can review all their selections:
Once they click Submit, the booking will either show as confirmed or pending based on how you have your OLR setup. If pending, once you approve the booking in Live Access, their appointment on their dashboard will change to confirmed.
Like any online account, users should note down their user ID and password for future use. However if your clients use the wrong email or need to change their email, forgot password and unsure how to request reset password link, or if you need to delete or disable OLR users, you can do that from the management panel in Live Access: Managing your customers Client Portal accounts
