Multilocation - Setting Kennel Connection to use Gmail

Email settings must be entered for each location.



To use Gmail settings in Kennel Connection, click on Setup, Business Info.  Enter your Gmail address.



Click on the Email tab.
In the outgoing server, put smtp.gmail.com
Choose Authentication type:  Login
Enter the full gmail address in the Username
Enter na (this feature does not require your own password) in the password field.
Hit Test Email Settings.




Click Yes.



KC will now need to authorize your email with Gmail.
Click the button. 




This will open a web browser so you can validate your email.  Click on Advanced and continue to the site.



If you have multiple Gmail accounts, be sure to click on the address you put in the settings in Business Info.
Choose the email and click Continue.
Depending on your settings, you may have to enter your password, enter a code Gmail will send to you, or click YES on a permission link Gmail will send.
Click on Continue.



Once it has been validated, you will get a successful message and the test email will be sent.
You will now be able to use the email function in KC cloud.
You can send an email through User Tools, Send Company Email.



Or you can go into the client card, click the arrow to send an email.
