You can run Kennel Connection on a MAC machine provided that you have both Windows and a VMware program such as Parallel's or VMWare Fusion installed. However, you will unfortunately have a decrease in performance and speed with the software. This is because your machine has to share its resources with the VMware software.
The only way to run Kennel Connection on a MAC and not lose as much performance is to use Boot Camp.* Boot Camp requires you to boot your MAC into the Windows side. This means you will not have access to your MAC side of the computer while running Boot Camp.
You can read more about it here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461
*Please note: The suggestion of running Boot Camp instead of a virtual machine to steer clear of performance issues is based upon our experience of seeing Kennel Connection running on Boot Camp and upon Apple support articles. We cannot and do not guarantee that it will run as fast as on a PC as there may be other processes or system tweaks that need to be completed that are outside our area of responsibility.
You must also have enough RAM for both the Windows and MAC side of your computer. We suggest at least 4 GB of RAM for the Windows side. You must factor in all programs and processes you have running.
