If in your OLR booking wizard you show the vaccination page and allow or require uploads of current vaccine records during the booking you have two options which can be set on the "customize pages" page of that modules OLR settings. Here we'll use boarding as an example:
OLR Settings, Boarding module, Customize Pages:
In mostly all cases, facilities have chosen the first option
Send it to pending for staff review of vaccine status/documents
What this does is it allows you to NOT require approval on all bookings so bookings can be automatically added to your database but if ANY reservations come in that have updated expiry dates/vaccination docs attached, it will automatically route these appointments to the approval page instead of creating the booking right away.
Your clients will see a pending notice and this will in-turn give you and your staff the ability to check the approval list, review the booking and vaccines and save the attached documents where necessary. Then when you approve the booking, the customer will receive the confirmation email (if you use confirmation emails.)
In other cases you may wish to use the second option
Allow the booking to be made as normal
This option will NOT send it to pending and will auto-approve the booking and enter it into your database. If using this option and requiring vaccination updating and document uploads, you'll need to make sure staff is checking the OLR bookings to see if these items were updated and attached. We do not recommend this option if you're requiring your customers to add new vaccination dates and documents during their OLR bookings.
