Error Cannot exceed sales cap when processing a refund

Error Cannot exceed sales cap when processing a refund

This error means you are trying to return an amount greater than was originally charged.  You will need to adjust the amount you are trying to return to be less than or equal to the original amount charged.  If a client paid twice, i.e. paid an invoice and paid a deposit, you will need to process a return for each charge.  Or, if the item was $35, you cannot return an amount greater than $35 for that item.
