This error means “could not use path and filename.” One of the things the backup utility does is compact and repair the database by making a temporary fresh copy of it, deleting the dead space out, then putting it back in place.
Uncheck the ‘compact repair’ checkbox and see if it backs up. If it does, then you don’t have permission to the KC6 folder for Kennel Connection 6
