Honeywell Voyager MS-9520 USB Barcode Scanner Configuration Guide (Discontinued Model)
For USB port connections:
Plug the end of the barcode scanner cable into an available USB port on your computer.
The barcode scanner should beep to let you know that it is now active. No software driver
is required for your barcode scanner.
Prior to using your bar code scanner, you must configure it for use within your software. To do so,
you must print this page and scan the items below in order. Please note: You MUST print this
sheet, as you will be unable to scan the code on the screen and normally requires a laser printer to print codes clear enough to scan.
Scan this barcode to enter configuration mode. The barcode scanner should beep three times to
let you know it has entered the configuration mode.
Scan this barcode to disable the carriage return suffix:
Scan this barcode to disable the line feed suffix:
Scan this barcode to enable the tab suffix:
To exit the configuration mode, scan this barcode. The barcode scanner should beep three times
to let you know it has exited the configuration mode. This barcode is the same as the very first
barcode in this document.
Your barcode scanner should now be configured to properly work within your software.

SCANNING THE BARCODE BELOW WILL RESET YOUR BARCODE SCANNER TO FACTORY DEFAULT. THIS IS NOT TO BE DONE NOW.
If necessary, to restore the barcode scanner to its factory-default settings, scan the following
barcode. Important! Scanning this barcode will eliminate any programming changes you already
made, and you will need to reprogram your barcode scanner. It will stop working properly with Kennel Connection if you proceed.
