Honeywell Voyager 1202g WIRELESS Barcode Scanner Configuration Instructions
Here are the instructions for programming your wireless barcode scanner. Print out this barcode sheet before proceeding: Attached.
Please note: You MUST print the barcode sheet as you will be unable to scan the code on the screen. Laser printer is recommended.
Scan the attached barcodes in the following order. It may be necessary to move the barcode scanner around or pull it away from the paper to get the proper read. The scanner will beep and flash a green light if successful.
Scan the barcodes in this order:
1st scan: Remove Suffix
2nd scan: Add CR Suffix
3rd scan: Add Tab Suffix
The above 3 scans are the only ones needed. Disregard any other barcodes on the barcode sheet.
*It is imperative that these are scanned in the above order. Scanning these out of order could cause the device to program incorrectly.
Once the steps are completed, you can successfully scan barcodes inside of Kennel Connection. Make sure to select the appropriate barcode scanner options under File, System Options, Local tab.
Please note: If you have your base station plugged into a USB hub, it may or may not work correctly. Most of these devices require a direct USB connection to the computer.
