Disabling UAC on Windows 10

From your desktop screen, press the Windows key UAC + X on your keyboard to bring up the administrative menu.  Choose "Control Panel" or use the search bar built into the task bar and search for "Control Panel".

In the upper right hand corner of the control panel, where it says "View by", be sure it's set to "Small icons".  Then choose "Security and Maintenance".

Click on "Change User Account Control" on the left hand side.

Drag the slide all the way to the bottom and click OK.

Restart the computer.  This is required.



The User Account Controls have been successfully disabled.
