If you are using Gmail or G Suite email settings in your Kennel Connection desktop and you send reservation confirmation emails, they may not be getting sent. If this is occurring, please do the following:
Go into KC desktop and open File, Business Info, Email tab.
Take a look at your email settings specifically at the port and security.
If you have it set to use port 465 with SSL, this is why. Gmail's content filters when using SSL filter lot's of automated messages based on content (KC confirmation emails included.)
To resolve this, simply change the port to 587 and tick ONLY the TLS box. Save changes by clicking OK. Your confirmation emails will now send properly.
*Live Access/OLR users, if you are noticing email issues from Live Access whether it's confirmation emails not sending OR simple email utilities creating an error message and you use Gmail, this article applies.
