If you have recently upgraded to Windows 10 or above and use the PetDetect printer, the upgrade may have reset its printers drivers and your collars may be coming out improperly formatted. If you are experiencing this issue, please complete the steps below.
Press the Windows key + X and choose "Control Panel" from the list that pops up or press the Windows key + S to bring up the search field. Type in Control and then click on the Control Panel in the search results.
If your Control Panel is sorted by category view, in the upper right hand corner change the "View by" to "Small icons".
Choose "Devices & Printers" from the list.
In the "Printers" section, locate the PetDetect Raster printer and right mouse click on it. Choose "Printer Properties".
In the printer properties windows, click on the tab that says "Advanced". You will see that the drivers for the printer are showing Star TSP700II (TSP743II). These are the default Windows drivers for the PetDetect Printer and must be changed back to the "PetDetect Raster Printer".
Click the drop down arrow to the right of Start TSP700II and choose "PetDetect Raster Printer" from the list. Then click Apply and OK.
Once the printer properties window closes, you can close out of the control panel completely. You may need to close and re-open Kennel Connection to get the change to take place. Your collars should now print out properly.
Please note that if you attempted to print a few collars before making this change and none printed out, a few collars may print out before it starts to work properly again.
